I'm Brandi, and I've been one of the co-cl's for the Small Animals board for over 6 years now and I just love it! I've made wonderful friends that I hope to know always. But I think the thing I like most about the board is that everyone there shares the same misunderstood addiction to rodents as I do LOL! I've had rats for almost 12 years now and even named my son after our first rat.  I've also had the joy of being owned by ferrets for 11 years and there hasn't been one day in my life that I didn't have a dog! I'm also the proud mom to a hyper boy named Rory who was born in February, 2004, and I share a wonderful life with my husband Nathan. We've been happily married for over 12 1/2 years now! The furries that live with us are three rats, two ferrets, and one dog. I love to do crafts, watch movies, garden, hang out with friends spend time one the computer and of course love on my furry kids. And just recently my husband and I stared a newsletter for rat enthusiast called It's A Rat's World. It's been a fun and stressful job:)

I hope you enjoy your visit at our homepage:)

Delphinums Blue

Named after a poem by A. A. Miline

This is my gorgeous Delphiniums, whom my son calls Finiums. I couldn't resist his beautiful face when I saw him. He's actually a tri colored rat which is pretty hard to come by in my city. He's become extremely special to me and as he gets older I become more nervous of each sniffle, worried I will lose him soon. Delphiniums is my alpha rat and absolutely runs the cage:)

Brewlee Brulee

This little boy loves to dook throught the house all day long!

This is my oldest carpet shark, Brulee (like the dessert Crème Brulee), his long time cagemate Crème recently passed away. I've had Brulee for almost 6 years now and this picture was taken in my garden years ago when he was still young and fluffy. He's old now and is losing his mask and fur. Brulee has managed to survive both adrenal and insulinoma cancers for over a year! He's become addicted to his special prescription food A/D and now follows me around the house like a dog, begging me to give him some.

Kashmir

"Snaggle Tooth"

Kashmir has only been with us for a year but he's between 5 and 6 years old. When a good friend could no longer take care of Kashmir I took him immediately and he's been a terrific addition to our home!! He's so full of energy and bounces through the house like he's Tigger! You can't tell in his picture but one of his canines juts straight out of his mouth, giving him one of the funniest face expressions, he's truly priceless.

Ari and Finn

My rescue boys!

These are my two rescue boys that came from Wee Companions in San Diego. They were born to mothers from a horrible hoarding situation. Even though they look almost identical they are not brothers. However Finn is brother to Joan's two girls Jennie and Sophie.

My new bouncy teenagers have brought lots of fun into the house and have given Delphiniums companionship since he lost his cagemates, Sorren and Cecil.

He's Ari Safari when he's being naughty!

Laika a.k.a. Likerbees

She's not exactly "small" but she is a part of my fur family!

This is Laika; named after the first dog in space. She was a rescue dog, as all of ours have been, and we've had her for almost 7 years now. She's a sweet dog but not all that bright LOL!

So silly
