Missy's Fabulous Furries
I have had animals of every kind in my home since I was born. In the course
of the 17 years I lived with my parents, we had 3 dogs, 15 cats (many strays that my mom or I took in), 1 turtle, 4 hermit
crabs, and 1 gecko.
My first pet "on my own" was my hamster Daisy which I bought when I was 21 years
old. She made the move with me from college in North Carolina to my new home in Manassas, Virginia. She was very
special to me as she had shared a slew of life experiences. Unfortunately after about 2 and 1/2 years, she died (from
old age I assumed since she had been slowing down). From then on, I knew that small fuzzies had as much personality
as the big ones and a few years later, I caved into my obsession once again.
I am now 27 years...soon to be 28 in November. I live with my boyfriend
of three years (lived together for two) in Columbia, South Carolina.

This is Oliver. At the time he was looking as cute as can be because the
canister of raisins were near by. He is my first chinchilla and definately not my last. I am officially hooked
on chinchillas. He has quite the personality - very strong and defiant, but knows as long as he looks cute, he can get
away with anything. Hobbies include: eating raisins, MickyD's french fries, Frosted Flakes, and whatever other bad things
mommy and daddy eat, jumping from perch to perch, biting Bailey's tail, escaping from the cage, and letting mommy scratch his
chin and belly.

Summer is probably disgusted at Bailey for taking up so much of the chair.
They loved this chair until we put a slip cover on it...now they have moved onto the couch again.

This is Summer. More than likey she is disgusted in whatever Bailey has
done before this picture was shot. She is my little "bubbies" and will answer to that as well as her real name.
Hobbies include: sleeping in mommy's bed when no one is in there, sleeping on mommy when she is alone in bed, biting Bailey's
ears, chasing Oliver when he escapes from his cage, and sleeping on the couch when mommy is watching tv.

This is Bailey. I got him (along with his "sister" Summer) in July
of 2000 from the Washington DC Humane Society. He is quite the character...very much a ham and attention hogger, but
he is my furry son. Hobbies include: eating, sleeping on my mommy's pillow, eating, petting Oliver, eating, attacking
Summer when feeling frisky, and of course, eating!

This is Big Vince. Due to a minor illness upon his arrival and an affection
for little boys, Vince missed his opportunity to obtain a home early on in PETsMART. However mommy's big heart and inability
to say "no" has now granted him one of the best homes he could have through adoption. He is settling in nicely amongst
his adopted brothers and sister and learning that this house revolves around food. Hobbies include: running through
the hay, eating oranges, hiding in my Chubes, watching everything that goes on around me, and figuring out a way to get my
claws on mommy's Little Debbie cakes.
